History
The 1963 thru 1965 Buick Riviera was an instant classic from the very first day of its introduction.
Beautiful styling was backed up by top quality engineering and featured the immensely popular Buick vertical valve design, 401 Cubic Inch V8.
Buick built this car for only three years, yet its popularity became legendary.
This very fine, museum quality example was sold new to a Bellevue Washington, USA owner
and lovingly cared for by him for many years, until eventually finding its way to a dedicated and long time car collector owner in Victoria, BC.
This car has always been kept indoors, which has preserved its original unrestored condition
at an amazingly high standard. Little things that mean so much, such as the doors still closing, just like they did when they were new, the factory original interior still looking like new and the trunk and motor compartment appearing just as they did at the moment they left the factory in 1965. The 401 engine is reported to have been recently completely rebuilt to a very high standard by one of our highly renowned local machine shops and is one of the smoothest and quietest 401 engines we’ve experienced in a long time.
The overall appearance of this car puts a smile on one’s face, just to stand and look at it.
