Since before World War II, Oldsmobile convertibles have been an icon of North American automotive design. For many decades, the Oldsmobile name was famous for power, styling and winning races. This model is an extremely rare example.
The very last Oldsmobile convertible came off the assembly line on June 11, 1975.
The headline on a GM advertisement for the last examples produced, stated,
“Today a beautiful Olds convertible. Tomorrow, a collector’s item”.
