Our heavy duty car trailer that we have owned and used for hauling our collector cars since the mid 1970's has been stolen. This trailer was custom made in Victoria and is a one off. There is no other trailer exactly the same. Rugged steel frame, tandem axles, mounted on leaf springs, 60's Chevrolet brakes, hubs and rims. 14" reinforced Michelin radials. Tin fenders with rounded outside corners, round tail lights set into fenders. Flat round reflectors on sides of frame at corners, amber front, red rear. Small red lamps mounted across rear. Plywood deck. spare tire mounted under front of deck.Access to spare tire by wingnut.Expanded metal strip surface on center portion of drive on area. Hand winch with steel cable. Handle not taken.Surge brake hitch with master cylinder under tin cover.Hitch takes 2" ball. Hitch loose. Stainless pin on small chain to insert in back of hitch to prevent master cylinder engagement when reversing. Drive on area curves up at front, to prevent driving vehicle off the front end. Open areas provided at rear, for placement of ramps.Pins standing up vertically, with holes through pins for clevis pins to secure ramps to trailer. Ramps not taken. Trailer wired with multipoint common black rubber connector to connect to truck. Typical three pins outside rubber, one in, or vice versa. Vin number on trailer.
