This truck was one of approximately 7000 produced during 1960/61 and was built for the home market (right-hand drive originally).
In 1963 it was shipped from England to Montreal, Canada and driven by the owner and his brother 4000 miles across Canada to Duncan on Vancouver Island, B.C. The trip consumed $36.00 dollars in gas. In 1971 it was acquired by a new owner.
The truck is powered by a 948 cc engine and currently sports a dual carb setup from a Sprite engine.
The truck has approximately 53000 original miles and was restored from the frame-up in 1991.
This truck is garage kept and under cover and is driven about 200 miles each year.
The Morris Minor Pickup is unique in that it has a complete separate chassis frame as opposed to the sedan, which is unibody. WE DOUBT THAT WE SHALL EVER HAVE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE !!
